"A green taste explosion"
A look into Anette's world – her enthusiasm for the Raumgarten

Let’s take a look at what Anette Prautzsch has to share. She’s been using the Raumgarten for a while now and was happy to tell us—and you—about her experience. Her passion is truly contagious.
She and her family use the Raumgarten actively and with great enthusiasm. At the moment, she's focusing on growing lettuce—but that’s just the beginning. Her all-time favorites? Without a doubt: coriander and basil. But not just any basil—Anette swears by Basil Marseille. What started as an experiment has now become a staple because it worked so well.

The path to the Raumgarten – and why it won her over
Her family used to have the Plantcube by Miele – a great device, but it was discontinued after some time. While searching for alternatives, they came across the Raumgarten. And that turned out to be a real stroke of luck:
"I was totally fascinated because it was just so big and offered such capacity. It really helped us shift into a new dimension. It’s just more practical and down to earth."
she shared. The size was a particular highlight for her, as the Raumgarten offers much more space than the Plantcube.
"What it delivers is kind of crazy," she says enthusiastically. It’s not just the plant growth that convinced her, but also the independence from seasons and weather. She explains: "Outside, it’s always tricky—then it gets cold or starts raining. But the Raumgarten is always there, ready for harvest."
Clean harvests only
Another benefit Anette loves: "There are no pests, no snails or caterpillars, and nothing gets eaten. It’s just so clean—it really excites me."
She also sees value in avoiding transportation routes: "When I buy herbs at the supermarket, even if they’re organic, they’ve still had a long journey," she notes. With the Raumgarten, she always has fresh herbs and vegetables on hand—no supply chains, no dependence on supermarket availability.

One Raumgarten – so many possibilities
Anette's enthusiasm can also be seen in the little details. "It’s also relaxing. It’s lovely to just open it and see what’s growing," she says with a smile. She loves to experiment and has already had a number of successes. She was especially surprised by the microgreens drawer: "That drawer is amazing."
Things can even get quite colorful with Anette: "Sometimes I just let everything grow wild, and then I make a colorful salad from the leftovers."
Flavor explosions and vacation pesto
Another highlight: once before going on vacation, she trimmed back all the plants. "When I came back, it was a jungle in there," she recalls. And what did Anette do? Naturally—make a huge batch of pesto! "That was pretty cool too," she says.
A green gem at home
For Anette and her family, the Raumgarten is more than just a self-sufficiency device. "It’s always a real eye-catcher in our stairwell," she shares proudly. And especially now, with the gloomy weather in Bavaria, she appreciates having fresh plants readily available. "I don’t have to go outside. Here in Bavaria, it’s been really practical—we’ve had nonstop rain for two days now."

Anette describes the Raumgarten as a true win—flavorful, healthy, and beautiful. "A green explosion of flavor," she says with a smile. Who could resist that?
